Todays post is about a Marine I look up to more than any other.
He is a man who cared about his Marines long after they were no longer under his charge and fought tooth and nail to ensure all of his Marines were taken care of.
He is a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars and has been highly decorated
Today Gunnery Sergeant Jerry F. Eagle Jr. 1371 Combat Engineer received a Bronze Star with combat distinguishing device for actions as platoon sergeant in Helmand Province Afghanistan.
In one week he returns for yet another tour of duty in Afghan, I would ask for everyone to say a prayer for this warrior and all those going with him and a thank you for his already honorable service.
